Warli table mats

The first one is a depiction of a marriage procession in Warli. The second is a collection of table mats with designs using Warli. It took a great deal of time and effort to complete the mats.

Mosaic on Pot

Guess what is used for designing this pot? Yes, just colour papers cut in random shapes are used to give a mosaic or tiles effect. Simple and easy to do. Will recommend for kids :)

Doll making

I wanted to make some small gifts to be gifted during Navarathri festival. So started making some idols using moulds and painted them. The interesting part is that, these idols will not break even if it is dropped down.

Soap carving

Wanted to try my hand in soap carving. Was bit tensed since it requires lots of patience. The voilin is made using Pears soap.

Latch Hook

This is also called rugwork. Using a needle we need to put knots on the mat. The needle is called latch hook needle. This can be used as a centre table mat or can be framed as a wall hanging.
